Congratulations to our HP 2 athletes who competed at the provincials championship. Abby, Emily, And Darren both improved a lot in their poomsae, we are happy to see their hard work lead to great performance. Ryan and Emma also fought really well against their opponents in sparring. Unfortunately , Gold medals were out of stock that day. Ryan will just have to keep Master Cheng’s medal for now until his 🥇 is shipped. Thank you to all coaches who worked tirelessly over 10+ hours looking after all athletes.

We have saved the best for last. Master Mitchell is all our female students role model. Master Mitchell lived and trained in the mother land of Taekwondo for 8 years. She not only trains athletes in all levels but she is also the head of our leadership program. Her caring side explains why many of her students who graduated often come visit her and ask her for life lesson counselling.
Master Mitchell interview:
The best part of being a coach is watching our students grow and mature. Being able to be part of the lives of our students while they develop not only Taekwondo abilities but also valuable life skills is a rewarding and humbling experience.
Challenge yourself! Look for opportunities to try new things and don’t be afraid to fail at them. Have confidence that you will succeed because if you work hard, try your best, and learn from your mistakes, eventually you will.

Mr. Lee is our most trusted and helpful instructor. He is at every Moohan event and tournament to help out. He is our tkd instructor prodigy. At only age 14, he teaches just as well as many Master instructors.
Coaching has taught me some very successful life skills through out the process. It has taught me how to communicate with athletes and parents, and it has taught me how to help people and give advice.
My favourite part of coaching is seeing the students have fun, and enjoy the martial art Taekwondo. I also enjoy the learning aspect of it, getting to learn and try different things.
For all the students and athletes my advice is too have fun when doing Taekwondo. Work hard, but still have fun during the process.

Today we feature our most improved instructor Mr. Yau, who grew up with the taekwondo after school program which sometimes Master Cheng picks him up from school. Mr. Yau is well known for his back flips and flashy demonstration kicks.
Mr. Yau’s message below:
Coaching has changed the way I look at students. It has taught me to be more patient and to look at things from the students’ perspectives.
My favourite part about coaching is seeing a hard working student succeed and teaching a new skill to students.
My message to our Moohan students are “Be humble and try your best in everything. Show respect to whoever is teaching you and learn from all your mistakes.
