Dear Moohan Family, In light of the recent increase in confirmed Covid-19 case…
Dear Moohan Family,
In light of the recent increase in confirmed Covid-19 cases in Ontario and restrictions being imposed to help reduce the rise in numbers, we wanted to reach out to you to share our plan for the coming months and answer some of your recent questions.
As you may know, as of last Friday, group class sizes in recreational facilities were reduced to a maximum of 10 participants in Toronto. This restriction does not currently apply to Markham. We are monitoring the situation closely and will make the necessary changes immediately if required. For now, any in-person class that currently has fewer than 10 students will be capped at a maximum of 10. Classes that already have more than 10 students will continue for the time being and we will work with affected families to transition some students to other classes if required by the government.
Should you or your child be told to isolate, please do not come to Moohan. Kindly inform us right away so we can take any necessary steps, including contact tracing.
If you or your child are ill, told to isolate, or uncomfortable attending in-person classes, contact us immediately at which time you will have the option to:
Put your membership on hold; or
Switch to a virtual class
Virtual classes continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are ready to open additional virtual classes if the need arises.
As mentioned above, we are monitoring the situation carefully and are following the guidance of our provincial sport organization, Taekwondo Ontario, which is working closely with the provincial and national government to ensure the health and safety of all our members.
We hope that you all continue to be well during this challenging time. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any assistance.
Stay safe and healthy,
Moohan Staff
